Casey Coates Danson

Casey Coates Danson received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in environmental design from Parsons School of Design, and graduated with honors in 1975. She is known for designing solar powered homes, which populate the pages of Angels Unawares. As a mother of two with a strong sense of stewardship for the earth and its people, Danson established her own nonprofit organization, Global Possibilities, as a national solar and renewable energy advocate to promote the use of sustainable energy. In her endless quest to bring awareness to that which concerns her, she recently focused on the issue of homelessness in this country - a project that has been in the works for more than 12 years - and out of that came her photography book Angels Unawares.
